The Zen Kick 2012

 

Twelve tracks all recorded at the Studio in Sai Kung, Hong Kong and mixed by Peter Scherr and mastered by Scott Hull at Masterdisk in New York. The Zen kick is a reference to my daughter, kicking in the womb before she was born. The first time I experienced this it frightened and delighted me in about equal measures.

 

Lucky Man is about being mugged in Hong Kong. Vanished is about losing precious things.

 

Expect everything from dub reggae (Mary's Fate), rock (Dignity), folk (This Bird) as well as a good smattering of world music influence (Lucky Man).
